Recipes

In keeping with our multicultural makeup, Other Missions offers a location where members can exchange recipes and thus, further experience the various cultures that make up our church.  Thus, you are invited/encouraged to offer one or more of your favorites to this section of our website.

     Have fish cut in large pieces or steaks.  Wash and dry with a cloth.  Rub with salt and pelper and dredge with flour.  Put in buttered baking dish with slices of bacon to cover and bake in moderate oven until browned.  If fish is thick, it will be done in about 45 minutes.

     Dice fresh tomatoes and simmer with celery, onion and parsley.  When fish is done, remove to platter.  Add any gravy in pan to vegetable sauce and simmer a few moments.  Pour over fish

Salt & Pepper

Flour

Slices of bacon

4 large fresh tomatoes or 1 tin solid pack tomatoes

1/2 c. diced celery

1/2 c. minced onion

2 tbsp. chopped parsley
